It not always what you think...never any guarantees...no promises...uncertainty...
I would say that most photography..at least mine is 90 % fun and games... laughing...planning the day...living life to its fullest..celebrating!
But of course there are journalists and photographers who seek out the grim truth...war, despair, dying, sickness, addiction, pathology, fires, accidents, murder, suicide and finally death...
These are things we don't want to see, but are real life..
Today I had the honour of photographing a dear friend with her family. They love each other...all of them! Its so heart warming when you see the love in eyes of the young and the old as the tears come and they try to hold them back.. "She so Stoic"..."Like a Viking" came from her Grandsons lips, as I even choked back the tears...
